National Spanish Exam

Every spring, EHS Spanish students have the opportunity to take the National Spanish Exam.  This is a nationwide test that allows students to demonstrate their skills in listening, reading comprehension, vocabulary and grammar.  A participant takes the level of exam that corresponds to their level/year in Spanish class.  The exam is designed to be very challenging and is voluntary.  Advantages of takeing the National Spanish Exam:  A) Students who plan to go to college will likely take a Spanish placement exam.  The NSE will be a very good tool to help them do well and possibly place out of college Spanish courses.  B) Those EHS students who score very well on the NSE will be allowed to opt out of taking their spring semester exam.
